Use of colourTeachers or learners who have selected the title and created the main ‘chapters’ or branches might want to use colour as another means of identifying distinctions between key ‘chapters’. Some learners will use colour as one of their strategies for memorising information and therefore all information related to the misuse of drugs might, for example, be in red, and the section on the positive aspects of a balanced diet might be in green. Some teachers may also find that colour is a simple way of asking the students to focus in a whole-class lesson with the Map on a large screen: ‘look at the red section for a moment please…’ |
