3.   Importing Key Word Lists

Importing word lists

Teachers or learners working independently may choose to do a brainstorm but they can also search the extensive key words' library and import a set of words ready to use in a concept map.  

These key word lists currently include topics from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3 for most National Curriculum subjects. Once imported they will appear in the WordHoard at the side of the screen. You are able to add words of your own with a Brainstorm or delete words that are inappropriate. (See Tutorial 3 Importing Key Word Lists.) It is always worth remembering to save the new WordHoard if you have added or deleted words from the original list.

Once words have been saved to the WordHoard on the side of the screen, users can check the meanings of words with the dictionary.
