Ready-to-use templates
EyeWrite contains a range of ready-to-use diagrams: Venn, Hierarchy, Matrix/Table, Fish Skeleton and Cycle. These can be imported along with a WordHoard and words can be dragged out, displayed and rotated. There are many occasions when learners or teachers want to present information visually e.g. the management of a business in a Hierarchy, and the ready-to-use diagrams will be most useful.
Background
The Background function in the diagrams allows users to import their own image to form the background to the screen. This can be a photograph, a graph, a diagram, a landscape, a building or any image that the user chooses. The WordHoard can be imported and the words dragged out to label the chosen image. For example, a diagram of a skeleton can become the background and the words can be dragged out to label the various parts of the body. Words can be rotated to run along the lines of the legs or arms.
This Background function can be used in most subjects and with learners of all ages from infants developing literacy to adults labelling a gearbox.
